| Q: |
|
Who
is eligible? |
| |
| A: |
|
Active
hourly and salary (full- and part-time) employees of eligible
GM suppliers, and fleet and commercial customers, not including
contract. Please note that to qualify for this program, you
must be a resident of the United States. (Retirees are not eligible for this program.) |
| |
| Q: |
|
What
is the discount, and how do I know if I'm getting a good deal? |
| |
| A: |
|
For
vehicles other than Saab®, each dealer invoice
will list a GM Supplier Discount price. That price is figured
at the price a GM employee would pay for that vehicle plus
4%. You can then compare your cost to the Manufacturer's Suggested
Retail Price to calculate your discount. |
| |
| Q: |
|
For
Saab, what is the discount, and how do I know if I'm getting
a good deal? |
| |
| A: |
|
The General Motors supplier price for Saab is
calculated as the dealer invoice price, less key market
advertising, if applicable. Saab provides a GM program/supplier
price list which you may request by calling Saab's Customer
Assistance Center at 1-800-955-9007. You may also ask your
sales representative to show you a copy of the dealer invoice.
You can then compare your cost to the Manufacturer's Suggested
Retail Price to calculate your discount.
