Beginnings and Expansion

K C Transportation Inc. was founded by Kenyon S. Calender in 1986.

At that time the company consisted of one employee (Kenyon), one tractor and one trailer! K C Transportation now operates terminals in Carleton Michigan, Princeton Indiana, London Kentucky & Wayne Michigan with 300 employees, 310 power units, and 595 trailers.

K C Transportation is currently one of the largest minority owned trucking companies in the Midwest region. Kenyon remains owner and Chief Executive Officer and has grown the company largely in the "Just In Time" concept of today's automotive manufacturing arena.
